Description

A story of complicity Philippe Canivet and Bruno Masson had shared a human and architectural complicity since their studies. When each found themselves at the head of their own agency, collaborations were spontaneous. Quickly, the human and professional benefits necessitated the merging of the two structures as an obvious choice: on June 15, 2010, AAGROUP was born. The goal? Certainly, to reach a new level in accessing commissions by pooling skills and references, but not at any cost. The initial spirit must endure: a shared architectural requirement without dogmatism or ego, serving clients and users, all facilitated by structural independence and local anchoring. Encounters, the relevance of the model, and the desire to prioritize a common standard in integration criteria did the rest. Six agencies joined the two initial ones from Saint-Étienne and Valence: Lyon, Dijon, Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Lille, and then Rennes in 2022. "We have two operating scales that we value," emphasizes Bruno Masson, the current CEO of the group and director of the Saint-Étienne agency. "While promoting the activity and local involvement of the agencies, the group is able to compete on increasingly ambitious national and international projects." AAGROUP today: Revenue: €14,552,000 excluding taxes 8 regional agencies 11 partners 140 employees, 90 DPLG architects, HMONP, OPQU urban planners 50 specialized employees: draftsmen, designers, engineers, project managers, graphic designers, BIM managers...
